Chick Corea

A name that almost certainly needs no introduction.Born of Italian descent (Catanzaro), Chick Corea began playing in the 1960s and has since gone on to forge a career marked by awards and international recognition, as well as by collaborations with leading exponents of the world music scene. Over the decades, some of the most significant musical collaborators have included percussionist Mongo Santamaria, Miles Davis, Dave Holland, Al Di Meola, John Patitucci, Dave Weckl, Frank Gambale, Pat Metheny, John McLaughlin, Kenny Garrett, Vinnie Colaiuta and Stanley Clarke. At the Italian Pino Daniele in 1993, Chick Corea won the Premio Tenco with the song "Sicily".

In early 2017, he took delivery of an ARTHUR modular mixer - configured as a personal mixer for directly managing his own on-stage sound. Having become accustomed to sharing a stage with ARTHUR over the past few months, as part of an ongoing world tour, Corea commented: "This beautiful Schertler mixer makes my keyboards and piano sound rich and warm - the way I like it. The channels are modular so I can configure the mixer to any size depending on which band I'm playing with. The controls and the layout are completely aesthetic and easy to control. It's a work of art!"

Chick Corea's live performance rider also includes the DYN-P-P48 microphone for piano (upgraded from the former Dyn GP)
