Radical Gipsy

The Radical Gipsy (Daniele Gai, Gabriele Giovannini e Giuseppe Civiletti) are born in 2012 as a trio jazz manouche, band which in three years has performed more than 300 concerts on stages all over Europe.
In 2013 they won the competition Time Out that allows them to perform at the festival Time in Jazz directed by Paolo Fresu. In 2014 they released their first job "Spaghetti alla Gitana" available on iTunes and on major online platforms.

The Radical Gipsy collaborated with prestigious artists such as: Florin Niculescu (Biréli Lagrène), Ludovic Beier (Angelo Debarre) and Emanuele Urso.


Daniele Gai born in Rome, where he lives and works. He began playing at the age of 12 years and the guitar immediately became his instrument of reference. He studied first as a self-taught and later perfected at the School of Popular Music of Villa Gordiani in Rome under the guidance of Maestro Roberto Spadoni. At 23 enrolls at the Conservatory of Frosinone, where he graduates in Jazz Guitar and Voice. He studied with Stefano Micarelli, Nicola Puglielli, Ettore Fioravanti, Roberto Spadoni, Eugenio Colombo.

Among his most significant collaborations cite: Florin Niculescu, Ludovic Beier, Emanuele Urso, Juan Carlos Zamora Albelo, Daphne Nisi, Moreno Viglione




Giuseppe Civiletti pupil of Massimo Giorgi perfects his classical studies with Luca Cola and the jazz ones with Furio di Castri, Attilio Zanchi, Gianluca Renzi.
He was part of “Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile di Roma” and of the “Orchestra Internazionale dei Conservatori”. Is currently part of “Orchestra Internazionale di Roma” and “Orchestra dell’Emilia Romagna”.
